On January 2023 RociFi launched V2, the next iteration of its under-collateralized and capital-efficient protocol, on Polygon. The key differences between V2 and V1 are:
- Support for additional borrowable assets. As of January 2023 RociFi V2 allows interest-bearing deposits and borrowing of USDT and USDC. Compared to just USDC on V1.
- More collateral options. As of January 2023 RociFi accepts as collateral WETH, WBTC, MATIC, USDC, USDT and DAI.
- Various loan durations. As of January 2023 V2 borrowers will be able to borrow assets for up to 7 or 30 days. In the future V2 the protocol will aim to provide 14 and 60 days.
- Ability to choose loans with various LTV/APR configurations. V1 only allowed borrowers with good scores to take loans with one configuration (e.g. under-collateralized loans with higher LTV & higher APR). In V2 borrowers can choose the configuration that suits them best. For instance they could select the same under-collateralized loans as before or various types of over (or equally) collateralized loans. See here for more detail on loan parameters.
- A new dashboard layout. Users of V2 will see new revamped UX including a dashboard which allows easier loan and deposit position management.
- Higher security and better code. All deposit, borrow and limits logic rewritten from scratch.
- A upgraded NFCS contract.
